Birds Of British Columbia Part 4: Sparrows

Hiding in the bushes were these little sparrows.

I noticed the word Debian in your side bar. Not sure exactly what it is, but I am a fan of Ursula K. le Guin and I came across the Debian logo the other day while surfing for references to her heyiya-if symbol from her book "Always Coming Home"

Is this saying the Debian logo was created first?

I know other people claim it is derived from a native american symbol.

I have no idea about the Debian logo, although I kind of imagine it's a big coincidence. I've seen the swirl in other places too. Thanks for visiting the blog!
