GRE General Test

Today, I took the GRE general test at MACEE in Penang. The whole test was supposed to be done in pencil, including the essay. I haven't written an essay with a pencil since I was 12.

I won't get the results anytime soon though, since my credit card payment didn't go through. I'll have to find some way to pay them soon, or they won't give my my scores.

I hope I did well. It's not a hard test, but it can be very taxing to sit through.

New Computer At Work

My employer was kind enough to get a new PC for me at work, which is a real sweet Core 2 Duo machine. It arrived yesterday, but the bad news is, I can't get the Debian installer to recognise the SATA DVD drive.

It comes with Windows XP Media Center edition, which I am stuck with until I figure out alternative boot methods.
